The Process Corpus of English in Education: Going beyond the written text

چکیده
The Process Corpus of English in Education (PROCEED) is a learner corpus which, addition to written texts, consists data that make the writing process visible form keystroke log files and screencast videos. It comes with rich metadata about each learner, among which indices exposure target language cognitive measures such as working memory or fluid intelligence. also includes an L1 component made up similar produced by learners their mother tongue. PROCEED opens new perspectives study writing, going beyond product. makes it possible investigate aspects fluency, use online resources, phenomena like automaticity avoidance, theoretical modelling process. has applications for teaching, e.g. showing students video clips from illustrating effective strategies, well testing, establishing corpus-derived standard fluency at certain proficiency level.
